Molly Adams-Toomey

Mezzo-Soprano Molly Adams-Toomey currently attends the Royal Irish Academy of Music in
Dublin, where she is working on her Doctor in Music Performance. At RIAM, Molly studies voice with Imelda Drumm. She has sung several opera roles including Nancy in Albert Herring with Chicago Summer Opera, Marte (Mars) in La Purpúra de la Rosa and the Danish Knight in Armide with Le Chateau de la Voix, Mamma Lucia in Cavalleria Rusticana and the Third Spirit in Die Zauberflöte with Tri-Cities Opera, Hebe in H.M.S. Pinafore with the Young Victorian Theater Company, and The Witch in Hänsel und Gretel with Binghamton University. Molly has participated in a variety of Young Artist Vocal Programs, including Chicago Summer Opera, the Sankt Goar International Music Festival and Academy in Germany, Le Chateau de la Voix, and The Cornish-American Song Institute. Molly received both a B.A. in Music and an M.M. in Vocal Performance from Binghamton University in New York, studying voice with Professor Mary Burgess.
